Prince Harry seems to have many tricks up his sleeve as well as future hopes for his career and life fulfilment.
After ten years serving in the army, Harry has now taken another year out, but there is no hesitation that he won't surprise and impress us, both at the same time. According to The Telegraph, he was reported to have said, "it was a really tough decision", before going on to explain, "inevitably, most things come to an end, and I am at a crossroads in my military career." And so he is, at age 30, he might be contemplating finding a suitable partner, starting a family, taking up a new hobby .. who knows?!
Unlike his fellow cadets that joined him at just age 20 at Sandhurst, he had not previously attended university and had remarked that his former weeks had turned out a 'struggle'. One can imagine the sort of challenges he faced being involved with the Royal Military Academy, as well as the emotional turmoil of dealing with his mother's death. They say time heals, sometime it does, for me personally however, the pain of loosing someone, whether that is through death or a personal reason, remains in your heart. You just learn to live with it I guess.
Although Harry most definitely would have acquired excellent transferable skills such as leadership, bravery, diplomacy and integrity, we need not forget how hard the transition to a new career can be for one, a Royal or not. However, on the plus side, with Harry's brilliant track record and outstanding qualities and testimonials, he stands more of a chance of getting a new career on the move (not just because he's a member of the Royal family).
He has only just revealed that he will be participating in a 1,000 mile trek in the UK, in the light of fundraising purposes for Walking With The Wounded. With so many inspirational and amazing young men and women joining the armed forces, this service charity does well in raising funds for injured servicemen/women to finance their educational qualifications.
While some of you (notice I said you, and not myself, as I won't be) will be planning your summer holidays in Ibiza or elsewhere, Prince Harry, will be travelling to Africa to get involved with some charity work. It is significant to point out that Harry is not completely forgetting his military involvement, as he will still be going to events and going on a trip to Turkey next month, and will be joined by Prince Charles for a memorial service.
Aside from his professional journey, I wish Prince Harry all the best with his future prospects, family, wealth and relationships and can't wait to see what he embarks on next!
