Is Donald Trump Fit To Be President?


Living in the UK, where although we still have a long way to go, but a multi-cultural race and faith society is celebrated for its diversity most of the time .. it is hard to ignore or not be offended by Donald Trump's demonization of Muslims, his judgmental and harsh remarks about women and his hatred towards the growing immigrant Latino community, who are taking over America's demographics. Despite these downfalls, a staggering number of people are voting and rooting for him to be U.S president, which is difficult to comprehend, to say the least. Is it Trump's tan that is winning over people's hearts? In my humble opinion, he is unfit to be the president of the U.S with such a vile attitude and a lack of respect for people.

ISIS has been a growing threat to countries all sides of the globe which has resulted in some reacting by strategically innovating education to stop radicalization, while others like Russia, didn't think twice about bombing ISIS or deploying their troops there. It is because of countries like Russia, ISIS are strengthening in numbers and their physical capabilities to destruct the world around us. Now, Trump is just as stupid as Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, for his lack of common sense and empathy for the greater good in his strategy in wanting to put an end to ISIS.

Trump said to CNN News that he would maintain tough controls on ISIS, by taking away their wealth, particularly the oil. You can watch the video  by clicking on the link below :

He goes on further by making the controversial statement, that if he becomes president , Muslims will be banned from entering the U.S. How can you ever justify such an Islamophobic and ignorant statement?! Firstly, Muslims are not all pro-ISIS. Secondly, Islam denounces terrorism and promotes peace and unity. How then does it make sense to force an entire religion and its people to reap the consequences of the inhumane and faulty actions of a few? I don't see Christians being banned from coming to the U.S as a result of the terrible injustices the Ku Klux Klan! Why is it that Muslims are constantly held accountable for terrorist activity. I am a Muslim and Islam does not encourage terrorism by far. Trump can go to Mars with his plans (notice I didn't say hell) - banning Muslims will only cause an uproar with ISIS, as they will have yet another excuse to behead another U.S citizen or worse still, bomb an entire city. God forbid. Away from ISIS. Trump is dutifully alienating the Muslim community, this is both unfair and unjust. If Trump gets elected for present, then I am afraid to think what sort and level of justice will prevail American society at the hands of such a regressive leader!

Moving on, his pathetic and horrid remarks about women, calling us 'fat pigs', 'bimbos' and 'dogs' is completely uncalled for and tells you he must have been rejected a million times by women to have such a nasty stance on the backbone of a nation, women. With no proven-track record of being a politician with a wealth of experience in leading a country in addition to his numerous downfalls in character and self-branding, we just have to hope he comes around if elected. I like to think positively about most situations in life and so I have hope in Trump, that he will realize his mistakes and right his wrongs.

Having said that, I think its time the U.S gave Hillary Clinton a go in being president, maybe the U.S needs a female leader. We've had Barack Obama, the first African-American male president and have revolutionized world history, with his contribution to leadership. Lets do it one more time with a woman who is for the people with a good head on her shoulders. Her laid out policies in aiming to end family detention and close immigrant detention centers to bring families together.

I just hope Trump does not win the elections, and if he does, may Allah guide him to be for the people and not against us! Ameen.
